I spent the day with my mom, dad, and uncle walking around the Outlets in Tannersville, PA (Poconos… ugh.) We left with a ton of stuff, mainly for my niece & nephew. I did manage to walk out of there with a few of my own goodies though! Two new Coach bags (well, one Coach bag, one sparkly Coach wristlet that I can’t find a photo of at the moment JUST found a photo of!) and a bunch of shoes. Technically, my mom bought a bunch of new shoes, but, since we are the same size, I count that as I got a bunch of new shoes.

Afterwards, we zipped down the road for lunner at Barley Creek Brewing Company. I got an Antler Brown Ale. It was described to me as “kind of like a Yuengling” by our waitress. Ummm…. ok? Yes, it was brown and rich like a Yuengling, but leaps and bounds more delicious. And I am a Yuengling fan! To eat, I had a chicken caprese sandwich, which consisted of grilled chicken with baby spinach, tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and a balsamic reduction on ciabatta bread. I swapped out chips/fries for a side salad with red wine vinaigrette that I think may have been spiked with crack. I’ve never tasted a red wine vinaigrette so amazing.

I ended the day with Beauty & the Beast in 3D! This is what I have to say about it: Obviously the movie was good. It’s Beauty and the freakin’ Beast afterall. The 3D? Not worth the $15 ticket. It was nice that things in the foreground stood out a little more, but other than that, nothing special. They didn’t include the “Human Again” number that is on the Special Edition DVD. However, the moment I’d been looking forward to, when Belle’s skirt whooshes past the screen during the ballroom scene, was just a bit more magical in 3D. 

Time for bed. I’m going to need my sleep as tomorrow I am planning to clean my room. I’m beginning to feel like I’m living in an episode of Hoarders.
