There was a week of my life that I was completely blind. I was 3, and it’s a really sad story. I’ll tell you about it some time.
For me, there’s nothing more delicious than macaroni with butter. Sometimes when I’m out to eat with my sister’s family and my niece gets this for dinner, I sneak bites off her plate. Which is especially bad because she’s not a good eater, and then my sister thinks she ate way more than she did.
When I was in 5th grade, I was pretty harshly rejected by the boy I liked when I let him know that I liked him. Because of that, I still to this day have trouble letting guys know I’m into them.
I love eating with chopsticks. Far more than any person should.
I wasn’t allowed to chew gum until I was like 12 because I used to play with the gum, and, inevitably, it would end up in my hair every. single. time.
If there was one thing I could have abolished from the planet forever, it would be pickles. Vom.
I get super judgey of people who claim to dislike judgemental people. And then I like to call them out on being judgemental. Everyone is judgemental. It’s a fact of life. Accept it and move on.
I am really into musicians. Especially drummers. Unfortunately, they’re usually the douchiest.
I had my adenoids out when I was 8. They were so enlarged that my ENT used a scope meant for a newborn and still could barely get it through my nasal cavity.
I consider myself to be slightly more than 1/2 Italian as far as ethnicity goes, but I actually have no idea. My father was adopted and raised by 100% Italian parents, so thats where I get it from. We actually met his birth mother, but she too was adopted! So, really, I have no idea where I come from.
That birth mother supposedly went on a few dates with Elvis some time after my dad was born, but before Elvis married Priscilla. Because of this, my siblings & I claim that Elvis is our grandfather.
My eyes change color— sometimes/usually green, sometimes gray, sometimes dark blue.
My very first concert ever was Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden in December of 1998. I was in 7th grade, and really pissed that I was “wasting” my first concert on Billy Joel. Looking back, I was a stupid little shit.
I can rap every word to “Shoop” by Salt N Pepa (along with every other girl who was 14 sometime between 1993-2000)
My eyebrows are this shape naturally. The only thing I do to them is a bit of “stray” maintenance tweezing. Because of this, I’ve never had my eyebrows “done.”
I have one tattoo that I got when I was 19, and I am itching like CRAZY for another.
I have probably 20 or so undeveloped rolls of film from circa 2000. Not sure if it’s worth it to develop, but I also refuse to throw any of them away.
I’m seriously considering classifying Boy Meets World as my favorite television show of all time.
When I was a kid, I wouldn’t wear jeans. Stretch pants all the time. I also never matched, had knotty hair, and it never occurred to me that people would notice what I looked like. Sometimes I kind of wish I was still like that.
The Fratellis “Chelsea Dagger” always makes me want to do shots of Jameson.
